Continued Education

With many years of private practice experience, Dr. Stephen Root has recently earned the Master of the Academy of General Dentistry’s highest award, the Mastership Award.

Becoming an AGD Master reflects a doctor’s ongoing commitment to provide quality care to their patients through the pursuit of continuing education. Before becoming a Master, Dr. Root was a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires an additional 500 hours of Continuing Education, as well as a Fellowship Examination.

The prestigious Mastership Award is an award that is presented to qualified applicants who have completed an additional rigorous 1,100 hours of Continuing Education Classes in specific disciplines.
